From it's humble roots in cornfields
and cow pastures during post World War II times in
rural areas of the south, to it's formative years in
the sixties and seventies, all the way to it's ultra
modern superspeedways and billion dollar corporate
sponsorships, NASCAR has been recognized as the top
tier for stock car racing. This section is dedicated
to the drivers, fans, tracks, and officials that
have paved the way for today's sport. This section
will focus on all facets of NASCAR, from tracks and
drivers, as well as each of the top series.

Dirt Track Facts

Where it all began,
dirt. Many, many of today's top stars got their
start at local bull rings all around the country.
For many more though, dirt is where it is at. From
the days of the NDRA ( National Dirt Racing
Association) to Hav-A-Tampa, to the numerous touring
series that make up the local and national touring
scene, here will be as good of a list of big race
histories, driver information, and any stats that we
can find. Information is kind of slim in this area,
but we will compile as much as possible.

IROC RACING

What would happen if you took the
world's greatest drivers, put them in identically
prepared cars, and let them fight it out for money
and pride? You had the International Race of
Champions, a series that took the best of CART,
NASCAR, WoO, Formula 1, IRL, and more and put them
head to head on some of the fastest and most
demanding tracks the series offered. The events ran
off and on from the 70's to the mid 2000's, but
money, and lack of sponsorship finally closed the
series for good. We will try to document as much
information as possible on this great series.

CART/ IRL Indy Cars

There is no bigger spectacle in
motorsports than the Indianapolis 500. Whether it
ran under the IRL,CART or Indy Car banner, this is
the pinnacle of racing. It's hallowed grounds. This
section will be devoted to this open wheel series.
One of racings oldest and most prestigious forms of
racing, the open wheel classes are among the fastest
and most technologically advanced. Here we will try
to record as many facts and stats as possible about
