You've
got to be careful how close you hang around
racers, because if not, they may just end up
giving you the fever too. Such was the case
with Jesse Carson. Jesse began his racing
career by helping a friend of his, Mark
Kiser, work on his cars, and hanging out
with him at the track. According to Jesse,
"the next thing I knew we was hauling my
cousins car outta the woods, and we fixed it
up. I been racing ever since.
That was back in
2003. That year he raced in a "handful" of
races. Even still after only competing in a
handful of races, he still managed to pick
up his first win driving a Nova in the
street stock division. 2004, would be his
first full season. In fact that year would
be one of his most productive years, picking
up a couple more wins, and finishing 3rd in
the points.
During the next
couple of seasons, Jesse ran events at both
Lancaster and Chester, but still said he
preferred Lancaster, simply because of the
speed and size of the track. he brought his
wins up to 4 during that time, and continued
to hone his driving.
This season,
has not been a good one thru the first half
for Jesse. He says he knows how
Richard Petty felt his final couple of years
racing.... "I've had a good car, and be
running good, we just always seem to get
tore up or break. " Though the luck
hasn't been on his side this year, he is
still due to break into victory lane
anytime.
Jesse would like
to send a special word of Thanks to the
following people.
Special thanks
