We will develop this site in the coming months as an
added attraction to you the fan. It is our intention
to bring to you information, articles, pictures and
resources that will help spread the love auto racing
to everyone,
regardless of whether you are new to racing or
if you are a veteran. We hope there will be
something here for all. So, sit back, relax, and
pull up a memory or two. Most of all, enjoy

Saturday Night- Sept 6th I-77
Speedway
$5,000 to Win Late Model Race!!! Fast Cars Run so Weak
Legs Can Walk...... That's the motto of the local
Shriners, and they are asking that everyone come out
and support them and enjoy a great night of racing
action. All 5 classes of I-77's regular classes will
be competing, as well as one more class of v-8's (
details still being worked out)The Late models will
run for 5 thousand dollars, AND the
Crate late models
will run for $1500. But in addition to the awesome
racing, the APW ( Action Packed Wrestling will put
on 3 matches prior to the race, and 1 more during
the intermission. Fun for all ages, and all the
proceeds go to a great cause!!! Tickets are only $10
for grandstands and $20 for the pits, but you will
want to get there early!!!!!!

James
Thrift
We at Speedway Photo would
like to extend our deepest sympathies to friends and
family of James Thrift. James was a force to be
reckoned with on the dirt bull rings in the
Carolina's during the 70's and 80's. James passed
away Sunday Aug 3rd. He will be greatly missed by
all who came to know him.
